ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Darton College women's soccer team has made it to the GJCAA Region XVII championship game.
The Lady Cavaliers beat Georgia Perimeter 3-0 Friday night in the region semifinals.
Darton will play Middle Georgia for the region title Saturday.
Lady Warriors beat Young Harris 5-4 on penalty kicks after the two teams went scoreless in regulation and overtime.
Darton won both meetings against Middle Georgia but needed overtime to win last week at Cochran.
Darton men play Georgia Perimeter at 6:00 p.m. Saturday in the men's semifinals.
Middle Georgia plays Young Harris at 8:00 p.m. Saturday.
The men's championship is 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Darton soccer complex.
