ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Police locate the car they believe was used to smash down the front door of two Albany and Dougherty County convenience stores last week.

This is the surveillance video from the Hav-Mor Food Store on West Gordon, where about 5 AM  Saturday someone drove that white car through the front doors. A thief stole thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes in a smash and grab.

Two days later someone drove a 1996 White Pontiac Cutlass through the front doors of the Fast Lane store on Sylvester Road. Witnesses got the tag number.

Last night neighbors reported that Cutlass had sit abandoned in the 2200 block of South Jackson Street for two days. Investigators are now doing a forensic search of the car. No one has been charged in those store burglaries.
