SHELLMAN, GA (WALB) - The Randolph-Southern Patriots may have been caught looking ahead to next week's game with Terrell Academy.
Fullington jumped out to a 12-0 lead and held on for a 36-30 win over the Patriots in Shellman.
Fullington used a blocked punt to jump to the early two touchdown lead.
Loy Devane's touchdown pass to Michael Ledford on a tackle eligible play put Randolph-Southern on the board at 12-7.
A 61 yard run by Devane at the end of the first quarter set up a 29 yard field goal by Alex Weeks to cut the lead to 12-10.
Fullington then drove down the field and scored on a Dylan Gay run to up the lead to 20-10.
The Trojans drive extended on a personal foul penalty by the Patriots.
Fullington is 7-3 and 4-1 in GISA 2-1.
Randolph-Southern is 8-2 and 3-1 in the region with a big game at Terrell Academy next week.
If Terrell Academy wins, the Eagles are region champions and Fullington is second in the region.
A Randolph-Southern win next week in Dawson will create a three way tie for first.
