ALBANY -- Southside Middle School students got a sneak preview of the legendary Harlem Globetrotters Tuesday. "Sweet" Lou Dunbar showed off some of the team's fancy tricks. He was at Southside because Dominque Bryant won a contest to interview the 25 year veteran.
She asked, "Did you dream of being a Globetrotter?" Dunbar responded, "All kids do, because they are fascinated by the ballhandling. I was very fortunate I got to play with my idols, I love what I do."
Dunbar also talked with the students about role models and staying away from drugs. The Globetrotters will play at the Civic Center February 25.
