ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The man dubbed the funniest Man in America came to Albany for a big show Saturday night.

Comedian James Gregory was at the Albany YMCA to tour the facility before his show.

James was presented with a proclamation naming him an honorary member because of his contribution to the well-being of the citizens of southwest Georgia through his unique style of family friendly humor.

"There are not many historically funny shows out there suitable for all ages, last night we were in Hernando Florida and we had two families in the audience that were three generations all together, so it's hysterical funny from beginning to end and there's nothing embarrassing about it, no blue subject matter, no bad language," said James Gregory, Comedian.

Gregory is a Georgia native born just outside of Atlanta.

He said success, like his comedy, is the direct result of the values he grew up with.
