Albany - The American Red Cross is always in need for blood donors.

This week members of St. Teresa's Catholic Church are lending an arm at the Blood Donor Center in Albany. It's one way to encourage the community to sign up and give blood. Church Member, Diana Hobby, says, "So much going on right now in the world. It's something anybody can do. There's no reason not to, it takes half hour to an hour of your time."

The Red Cross is in urgent need for all blood types. St. Teresa's Straight from the Heart blood drive ends Saturday.
