ALBANY, GA (WALB)- A woman was shot and killed by Albany Police Friday night. The victim is 48-year-old Sara Riggins.
The shooting happened at a house in the 1200 block of West Gordon Avenue just before eight, police were called there for a domestic disturbance.
APD has called in the GBI to assist with the investigation. They removed the body from the house at 11:30, Officials are not releasing the name of the officer involved in the shooting.
