Valdosta State (4-4, 4-3) saw its slim playoff hopes crushed by the loss to the Lions.
North Alabama quarterback Harrison Beck threw four touchdown passes and ran for another score.
The Lions also took advantage of four Blazer turnovers including three interceptions by VSU quarterback Kellen Lewis.
One of those interceptions was returned by Michael Johnson for a North Alabama touchdown that gave the Lions a 27-0 lead early in the second quarter.
Blazers got on the road with a 23-yard touchdown run by Ronnye Nelson to make the score 27-6.
Marcus Sims one yard dive with 23 seconds left in the first half sent North Alabama to the locker room with a commanding 34-6 halftime lead.
Valdosta State is on the road at West Georgia in their final conference game next Thursday in Carrollton.
The Blazers close out the regular season at home November 7th against Edward Waters.
