ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Mediacom cable opened at a new location in Albany. Their new offices are on 1104 North Westover road and much better that the older downtown building.

The new building is located right near the mall and several other shops and restaurants,which officials hope will be more convenient for cable customers.

Thursday, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held followed by a special visit from Diego from Dora the Explorer, a popular kids show. 

"This building is open and airy just one place for customers to come and be served were really pleased instead of separation of church and state everything you need can be handled right here with an open air of professionalism," said Sue Misiunas, Regional Vice President of Georgia Mediacom

Media com cable has three major locations in Georgia: Albany, Valdosta and Columbus.
