ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A bullet narrowly missed a Moultrie Police Officer on patrol last night. Now the GBI wants your help to find the shooter.
The bullet hit the cruiser just below the back window on the driver's side. The officer was responding to a call around 11:30 PM in the 400 block of Martin Luther King Junior Drive when she heard the shots.
The GBI is now trying to determine if the call was a set-up to ambush the officer. If you know anything, call the Moultrie Police tip line at (229)873-3198. We have a crew in Moultrie now gathering the latest information on the investigation.
