ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  Two of the hottest football teams in the GISA will meet in Perry with a region title hanging in the balance.

The Deerfield-Windsor Knights will battle the unbeaten Westfield Hornets.

It is the first meeting since Deerfield-Windsor beat Westfield in last year's state championship game.

The Knights understand they are walking into the Hornets nest for a Westfield team that appears to be on track for another championship game appearance.

Deerfield-Windsor has won six straight and the Knights will learn if they have a chance to repeat as state champions Friday night.

DWS head coach Allen Lowe said. "We are still searching to find out if we are going to be the best team we can. We still no we have room for improvement. Going against good competition is the only way to find out if you can step up and match up to it and Friday night will be a good test. "

Knights and Hornets kick at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Perry.
