Albany- Students around South Georgia create unique turtle designs to make a new play park come to life.

Today, members of the Junior League of Albany selected several finalists from area schools. The Junior League is working to Build Turtle Grove Play Park in Albany. Turtle designs chosen today will be on display at the Albany Mall on February 28, March 1st and 2nd. You can then vote on your favorite turtle for just a penny.

Junior League member, Sandra Smith, says, "This is just a great opportunity for kids to help with the park, after all, it is for them."

The top ten schools will be given turtles to be placed in their front yards. Winners will be announced on March 15.
