ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Mayor of Albany kicks off an initiative to help clean up Albany. Dr. Willie Adams and Keep Albany Dougherty Beautiful Director Judy Bowles announced Friday a Spruce up Albany project.

Homeowners and business owners will have the opportunity to get big discounts on paint products next month to touch up their property.

Bowles said, "This is a wonderful private partnership with Government and private industry and we're real excited that together we can join hands and make our community look better."

Mayor Adams said, "People can look forward to November. I'll make some improvements to our home just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas."

The program will run the entire month of November. You can get paints and supplies at discounted rates from ICI, Porter and Sherwin Williams paints.
