ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Two Colquitt County men got into a fight with a machete after they smoked crack together.

Sheriff's Investigators found Johnny Sirmons standing in a yard on Mt. Sinai Church Road Tuesday covered in blood. He told investigators he and a man whose name he didn't know bought crack cocaine in Doerun and smoked it on the way back to Moultrie.

When the other man flirted with Sirmons wife, Sirmons attacked him with a machete. The acquaintance got the machete away from Sirmons and cut Sirmons arm. He was treated at Colquitt Regional Hospital.

Deputies are searching for the other man. Investigators will meet with prosecutors to decide what charges to file.
