Ft. Benning - Troops who are being deployed will spend Valentine's Day away from loved ones.

If soldiers are still at Fort Benning, flowers are close at hand. Samanthia's Flower Shop is inside the main mall on the base.

Workers are busy taking orders and getting roses ready for military and non-military customers. Owner, Samuel Williams, says, "It gives a little hope, expression of love. Even if they are not here, they haven't been forgotten, people still thinking about them."

On Valentine's Day most customers buy gift baskets, and of course red roses.
