ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  Prosecutors say they will fight to keep the suspects charged with murdering an Albany man during a gang initiation behind bars.

Some of the suspects are asking for bond hearings. Seven members of the Black Gangsta Disciples, including accused gang leader 33-year-old Greg Marshall are charged with beating 32-year-old Reginald Richardson to death during a gang initiation June 23rd.

Dougherty D. A. Greg Edwards insists those suspects need to stay in jail.

"The investigation is ongoing. We are still seeking other persons that may be involved in this particular situation as this investigation continues."

Albany Police say they expect to make more arrests in the murder. No bond hearings for any of the accused killers have been scheduled.
