ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Hundreds of people took a Walk on the Wild Side Thursday night at the Parks at Chehaw.

Friends of Chehaw hosted the fundraiser at Chehaw's wild animal park.  Restaurants from around Albany showed off some of their best dishes and desserts. There was also free music, all to support Chehaw.

"This is a good thing because the Parks at Chehaw are a wonderful source for our community and it's a wonderful resource and we really need to support it," said Amber Albritton, Friends of Chehaw Board Member.

Some items in the silent auction included autographed lyrics from Taylor Swift and the Jonas Brothers and a guitar autographed by Jimmy Buffett.
