Thomasville Police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a store, scaring customers and clerks.
ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A Mitchell County woman and a Moultrie man admit to separate armed robberies in Mitchell County.
Twenty-one year old Charles Sharpe pleaded guilty to one count of armed robbery. He held up A&A Finance and Tax Service on East Broad Avenue in Camilla in March. Sharpe fired a shot at an employee when she ran for the back door. He was sentenced to 20-years in prison but will serve 15.
Beulah Stewart also pleaded guilty to armed robbery for the home invasion of BMW Liquors owner. Stewart and two men forced their way inside Dal-jeet Singh's apartment and stole his wallet and a satchel.
Singh wasn't injured. Stewart will serve 150 days at a women's detention center and 20 years on probation.
