ALBANY, GA (WALB) - There's a good one-stop resource for flu information, and now the government is improving the website.

Health officials say you can find both seasonal and H1N1 flu information on Southwest Georgia's Health District Website, and another a government site.

The website's new self-evaluation guide allows adult to evaluate their symptoms and decide whether they need to see a doctor or can follow some simple tips to treat their symptoms at home.

The site contains a lot of useful information.

"It can help you locate where vaccine might be, it can tell you whether your state's ordered vaccine or not, whether its going to be the spray form or the injectable kind and they've broken it out so if you're a senior and you've got special concerns you can click on that," said Health Public Information Officer Carolyn Maschke.

The government website also clears up myths about flu and answers other common questions you might have about the flu.
