Albany - Thanks to several rainy months, Albany can now join the state in lifting the water restrictions. The Environmental Protection Division ended the state watering ban in January.
On Wednesday, the Water, Gas, and Light Board voted to do the same.
In June 2000, the drought caused the EPD to limit outdoor watering to every other day. WG&L still urges you to continue conserving water.
