CORDELE, GA (WALB) - The Lowndes Vikettes battled Northside-Warner Robins for 15 innings before the Vikettes won a 7-6 game in the second round of the 1-AAAAA softball tournament being played at the Crisp County softball complex in Cordele.
Lowndes won their first game 1-0 over Tift County.
The Vikettes face top seed Houston County in the winner's bracket at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday in Cordele.
Wednesday's action begins at 4:00 p.m. with Warner Robins playing Tift County and Colquitt County facing Northside Warner Robins.
The championship game is set for Thursday.
