ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A new downtown Albany restaurant will open its doors later this month.

My Downtown Bistro owners have been working since February to renovate the old Harvest Moon location on West Broad Avenue. There are still several permits and inspections that must be finalized. The restaurant will open for lunch from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM and the menu will change often.

"I like to try a little bit of everything and I think everyone likes to have a little something different every day. There's only so much of one particular type of style you can take you want to change up so we've got it where you can come and eat with us and have something different every time," said Matt Beard, Owner and Executive Chef.

The new bistro will offer an upstairs meeting room and banquet facility for parties and events. The restaurant is already taking bookings for the holidays.
