Thronateeska, RiverQuarium announce partnership

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Thronateeska Heritage Center and Flint RiverQuarium have entered into a partnership that they expect to ‘enhance mission fulfillment and improve certain administrative functions' of the organizations.

The say they are trying to provide a better product for the community and provide more activities is they two attractions act together.

They will start the program in January 2010, by blending, accounting, education, and maintenance. They say this does not mean the venues are merging.

The move comes to ‘increase efficiency and maximize limited resources.' No jobs or salaries are expected to be cut in the move.

When visitors by tickets for one venue, they can also get them for the other with one call.
