BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) - A man is in jail for delivering drugs to deputies. And investigators say these "call-in" drug orders are common now-a-days.
Decatur county investigators got a tip that 29-year-old Chadwick Inlow would be delivering methamphetamine to a home on Old Clay Pit Road.
Investigators set up a sting. They say sure enough Inlow showed up with more than 4 grams of meth. When he realized it was a set up, he threw the bottle at the officer and tried getting away but was quickly arrested.
Investigators say meth is growing problem all over south georgia mainly because it's easy to make.
"A lot of the older users of crack cocaine or cocaine have switched to methamphetamine and then a lot of people that may have had a problem where they were abusing prescription drugs have moved over to methamphetamine too," said Captain Chip Nix, an investigator for the Decatur county sheriff's office.
Inlow is in the Decatur county jail. He's charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and obstruction of an officer.
