Albany State not taking Lane lightly

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  After celebrating a big homecoming win, unbeaten and 10th ranked Albany State Rams will be spending some time on the bus over the next three weeks.

The road trip starts this Saturday night with a conference game at Lane College.

The Dragons are winless this year and head coach Mike White says turnovers are a big reason why.

Coach White says Lane has a mobile quarterback and some big receivers so they can put some points on the board.

Coming off an emotional win and facing a team with goose egg in the loss column, there is the chance the Rams may not be up for this game.

Not a chance says coach White.

Mike White said. "There won't be any letdowns at all. It is business as usual. It is a business trip."

Quarterback A.J. McKenna said. "On long road trips, you always have got to focus more and pay more attention to your assignments and stuff and not let the road trip affect your mentality."

Albany State plays at Lane College at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday night.
