CUTHBERT, GA (WALB) - A Cuthbert man who was gunned down in his business is now out of the hospital and recovering from his wounds.

62-year old Lamar Burks was attacked inside his shop Wednesday.

A man hit him in the head, then shot him in the side. Burks was airlifted to a Columbus hospital but has since been released.

The gunman hasn't been caught, but police believe it was someone who knew Burks and had a grudge against him.
