Saturday morning at 6:30, 52-year-old Mae Brown was driving north on US 319 in Grady county right outside the Thomas county line.
When she tried to pass a vehicle in front of her, she lost control, swerved off the road and hit a tree.
Brown wasn't wearing her seat belt.
She was ejected from the vehicle and killed at the scene.
