TALLAHASSEE, FL (WALB) - The college baseball season is still six months away but Florida State has lost one of their most versatile players.
Florida State sports information says Jack Posey will have tommy john surgery on his right elbow and will miss the 2010 season.
Jack Posey will redshirt and will have two more years of eligility remaining.
An FSU spokesman says Jack Posey suffered the injury during fall workouts.
