MITCHELL COUNTY, GA (WALB) - Mitchell County sheriff's deputies are looking for a gunman who robbed a preacher at his church.

Shortly before 5:30 Friday afternoon Pastor J. Colburn Hobbes was held up at Lighthouse Community Church on Highway 19 at Mill Pond Road near Pelham.

Hobbs was preparing for this weekend's service.

As he left the building, a gunman stole his money and sped off in a car.

The pastor was not hurt.

A little more than a month ago, armed robbers held up three deacons as they left a church in Camilla.

If you can help find the gunman call the Mitchell County Sheriff's office at (229) 336-2030.
