ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says it will release its investigation into fired ADICA CEO Don Buie to the Dougherty District Attorney within the next week.

GBI Special Agent Mike Lewis says his agency is wrapping up a more than two month long probe into allegations that Buie, the former downtown manager of Albany, misappropriated and misspent taxpayers dollars.

Buie's not the only person they are looking into.

They're also investigating a $50,000 grant received by ADICA board member LaJuana Woods, signed by Buie, without board approval.
