ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A Taylor County man led Sheriff's Deputies on a high speed chase through three counties before ditching his car and escaping into some woods.
Sheriff's deputies spotted Bentrice Turner's car in Andersonville about 10:30 AM Thursday. They say he was apparently running from a home burglary in Schley County and refused to stop.
He sped up Highway 49 into Macon County and then on Highways 128 and 96 into Taylor County.
Turner made a quick turn into a trailer park off Highway 96, ditched the car, and got away.
Anyone who knows where Turner might be is encouraged to call their local Sheriff's Office.
