Albany- A twenty-one year old Albany native publishes a book of poetry inspired by her life experiences.

Margie Precious Tomlin is the author of "Precious Thoughts." The book of poetry includes inspirational, spiritual and creative poems capturing moments in Tomlin's life. She hopes her book will inspire readers to put their own feelings on paper.

She adds, "It's always been my dream to write a book of poems. My parents and teachers encouraged me, and my dream came true."

Tomlin attends North Carolina A&T University. She is a graduate of Monroe High School in Albany, and she hopes to release another book in the next three years.
