Albany- A 13 year old Alabama boy was shot and killed at last year's Eastman Gun Show in Atlanta. Ironically, that show was originally supposed to be held in Albany, but the show was slapped with a lawsuit.

The show was once held at the Hasan Temple, but they sued claiming unpaid bills and stolen property. This weekend the show moved to the Exchange Club Fairgrounds.

The show organizer says safety has always been a key at his shows. "Every gun in here is checked. We've got security walking around constantly making sure the guns are tied with nylon safety ties so the guns cannot be operated and loaded. Every gun that walks into this show is checked to make sure its not loaded," says Matt Eastman.

He also says no one will sell or walk out of the show without having the required gun or vendor's license.
