Tayleigh Davis

Tayleigh is a Wilmington, North Carolina native, and she's thrilled to join WALB news from our sister station WMBF News in Myrtle Beach.

In Myrtle Beach, Tayleigh worked as the overnight Associate Producer, covering stories that ranged from the Horry County Wildfires, adderall abuse, local bartering, and other breaking news in the Grand Strand.

Tayleigh started her career as an intern at WECT and WWAY in Wilmington. She volunteered her time at those stations during the summers while attending East Carolina University.

Tayleigh has a strong tie to ECU Pirates athletics because she ran track and cross country and also worked in the Sports Information Department.

Tayleigh also loves exploring new places, whether it's a road trip or a trek across the "pond." She studied abroad in Wroclaw, Poland while in college. Learning the Eastern European culture and meeting natives of other countries surrounding Poland was a culture experience she'll always remember.

Not only does she enjoy traveling, but she absolutely loves listening to local and well-known bands, as well as enjoying anything related to the outdoors and athletics.
