Dougherty County- The Federal Emergency Management Agency has agreed to extend the restrictive covenant which says the Radium Casino property must be returned to open space.
However, the extension only lasts until December 31st.
Planning and Development Interim Director, Tracy Hester, says even though FEMA has extended the deadline, because the county owns the property, the commissioners must approve the extension before it is final.
