January 31, 2003

Albany -- The two men found in the rubble of a burned building in Albany had been dead for two weeks when they were found.

Autopsies show both men died of smoke and heat inhalation in the January 11th fire at the building on West Oglethorpe.

The body of 60-year old Jerome Gesullo of Pennsylvania was found last Friday during demolition.

The body of 44 year old John Gray Staines Junior of Sylvester was found Monday. Both men were homeless and died in a fire they set to stay warm. The coroner hasn't been able to find relatives of either man.
