Adel - People in Cook County were busy Friday preparing for their annual Buzzard Day celebration. Each winter, thousands of people flock to Reed Bingham State Park to visit one of the bird's most popular migrating spots.

There will be boat rides and tours, wildlife shows with more than 50 types of reptiles, a kids fishing rodeo, and more.  "It's a fun family event that everyone can enjoy," said Chet Powell. "If you don't like one thing we have, there's a million other activities you'll be sure to enjoy."

The day's events will begin at nine Saturday morning and end at six.
