(Lawrenceville-AP) -- Lawrenceville police captured a man last night who allegedly stabbed his wife and son with a samurai sword during a dispute at their home. Police Major Paul King says 34-year-old Darrell Eugene Brown attacked his wife, April Clark Brown, at about 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Brown then allegedly stabbed his 14-year-old son when the boy attempted to intervene and then kept the two at the house for two hours before taking them to Gwinnett Medical Center. Hospital spokeswoman Paula Martin says April Clark Brown was treated and released. Darrell Eugene Brown turned himself in to police yesterday.
He will be charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of false imprisonment.
