Thomasville - A grocery store is shut down for more than six hours Thursday because of an attempted burglary.

The Winn Dixie in Thomasville was sealed off with crime scene tape after a worker heard noises in her office at four this morning.

Investigators believe the suspects went through the air conditioning ducts in the roof after closing time last night.

A Special Response Team searched the store and crawl spaces but did not find anyone.
