BROOKS COUNTY, GA (WALB) - That small plane that crashed last week in Brooks county broke up in mid-air.

The National Transportation Safety Board says weather may have caused the break up and crash.

Two people were killed when the plane went down. Pilot  Robert Moreland and his passenger Michael Villanueva.

They were both executives from the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and were flying from Montgomery to Perry Florida.

Their plane disappeared from radar around 10 last Thursday night.

The wreckage was found around noon the next time by the Georgia State Patrol aviation unit.
