ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany State is ready for their home and SIAC opener Saturday night against Kentucky State.

It is the first chance for the Rams to see the offense of new coordinator Steven Smith.

The ASU offense turned in a solid performance with their season opening win last Thursday at Chowan.

Coach Smith says the offense still has a lot of improvement to make over the season especially in the running game.

He hopes the ground game will have fans cheering on Saturday.

Steven Smith said. "They will see hopefully a great running game and a great passing game. us moving the football up and down the field and putting points on the board."
