ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An 87-year old Albany woman driving on a busy street was stopped by Police after she waved a gun at another driver.
The victim says she couldn't believe it when Police pulled the gun-waving granny out of the car, and she had to use a walker.
87 year old Elizabeth Tinsley was ticketed for aggressive driving. About 1:15 Thursday afternoon Rosa Wilkerson and her boyfriend were driving in the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue, when she honked her horn at a car drifting into her lane.
As she passed the woman driving held up a sign that said "slow down, "and then started waving a gun at them as she followed close behind. Wilkerson called 911. "I'm like no. Come on. 89 and pointing a gun at me. And she had it sideways like she's a gangster. They just fell out, "said Wilkerson.
Albany Police did not file any gun charges against Tinsley, because it was a toy gun, and let's face it, because she is 87 years old.
Wilkerson says it's funny now, but says it was scary when she saw that gun.
