ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Right now, Albany police are searching for a suspected gunman.

We're still gathering details, but we do know that an 18 or 19-year-old man was shot a little after 9 o'clock Tuesday night.

Police were searching for the gunman in the 200 block of East Road.

The victim was transported to the hospital.  We don't how seriously he was hurt.

We'll continue to follow this story.
