ALBANY, GA (WALB) - How would you like to travel across the state of Georgia without ever leaving the seat in front of your computer?

Walk Georgia is an 8-week program designed to increase your physical activity.

You can go online and enter how much time you spent working out or even doing yard work.

Those minutes will be translated into miles.

Then you will virtually travel across Georgia discovering interesting facts about each county you "visit".

"It always helps to have a workout partner especially if you can go outside somebody that you can walk and talk with makes it more fun and motivating then you sort of held accountable if you have a workout partner," said Tony Powell, owner of Tony's Gym.
