ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Car thieves in Georgia had Hondas on their minds in 2008, According to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, Honda Accords and Civics were at the top of Georgia's 10 most stolen autos last year.

Here is a look at the Peach State's most commonly stolen autos:

1.      1994 Honda Accord

2.      1994 Honda Civic

3.      2004 Ford F150 Series Pickup Truck     

4.      1994 Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokee

5.      1990 Chevrolet 4X2 Pickup

6.      1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass

7.      2002 Ford Explorer

8.      2000 Dodge Caravan

9.      1999 Ford Taurus

10.    1997 Toyota Camry

The NICB study explains that certain older model cars and trucks are popular with thieves because of the value of their parts. Parts can often be sold for greater value than what the car itself would bring in.
