THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A Thomas County man was robbed of his money and his pants early Saturday.

Investigators say 37-year-old Christopher Jones was walking down Collins Street in Meigs when 31-year-old Derrick Cochran hit him in the face.

Police say while Jones was on the ground, Cochran removed his pants, which contained his wallet, and took off running.

Jones was taken to the hospital for stitches.  Thomas county investigators have warrants out for Cochran's arrest.
