All Dougherty County public schools will be closed on Friday, January 24. This includes all personnel who are employed IN A SCHOOL - faculty and staff.
All other school system department personnel will report from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The Pelham City Schools will let out at 10:30, due to a power failure.
These centers will also be closed FRIDAY

An arctic air mass is moving into the region, and will bring the most significant cold air outbreak in several years. Temperatures will fall to hard freeze warning levels tonight and will remain at or near record low values for 36 to 48 hours.
The combination of strong winds and cold temperatures will push wind chills as low as the single digits Thursday night.
