ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A 14 year old girl is in good condition at an Albany hospital, after she was struck by a pick up truck while going to school.

14 year old Tashoshua Bell was struck about 7:50 Thursday morning right in front of Monroe High School.

Police say Bell was dropped off from a family member car on Lippitt Drive, and ran across the street without looking.  She was hit by a 1996 Ford Pickup Truck driven by 58 year old Everett Douglass.

Police say the investigation is still on going, but they do not expect any charges to be filed against Douglass.
