ALBANY, GA (WALB) - State of the art training for firefighters is coming to Tifton.

Moultrie Technical College broke ground today on its new Fire Science Building at its Tifton campus.

The 11,000 square foot addition will have six classrooms and will offer fire science technology classes.

"We should see the numbers in our fire science and high school dual enrollment go up because we've got the room to help with them and we actually hope to have additional buildings on this campus, our growth has been tremendous here this community has been very responsive and so they believe in education," said Tina Anderson, Moultrie Tech President.

Moultrie Tech will offer dual enrollment classes for Tift County High students.
