No quarterback questions at FSU

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WALB) -  There is no doubt about who the starting quarterback is for the Florida State Seminoles.

Junior Christian Ponder is back for his second season under center.

It is the first time in five years where the Seminoles are settled at the quarterback position.

Something the team says will make a difference this fall.

Senior tight end Caz Piurowski said. "I think that is a real big deal for us. We are not looking two guys right now. We are not looking at one guy being our leader and the next day we are looking at the other guy. We are looking at one guy to take us, one guy that is going to step up and be the guy."

Christian Ponder said. "I have tried to be more vocal and make sure guys are doing the right thing. It has given me a lot more confidence."

Florida State opens the 2009 football season on Labor Day night against Miami at Doak Campbell Stadium.
